How payment by bank transfer works at Golf Carts King, when your order ships, and how to protect yourself from payment fraud.
1. Accepted Payment Method
We currently accept payment by direct bank transfer (wire transfer or ACH) in U.S. dollars (USD). The payment methods available for your order are always shown on our checkout page.
For international orders, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territory orders, and any order arranged by freight quote, we will confirm the total amount and payment instructions with you in writing before you pay.
2. How Paying by Bank Transfer Works
Place your order on our Website and choose Direct Bank Transfer at checkout. Your order total, including the vehicle price, any sales tax and any shipping charge, is shown before you confirm.
You will receive an order confirmation email. We will then email you our bank account details and payment instructions from contact@golfcartsking.com.
Send the payment from your bank using your order number as the payment reference.
Once the funds have cleared in our account, we will confirm by email and begin processing your order. Your vehicle ships, or is released for pickup, only after payment has cleared in full.
Your vehicle is reserved for you while we wait for your payment. If payment is not received within 7 days of your order, we may cancel the order and release the vehicle. Any bank fees charged by your bank for sending the transfer are your responsibility.
3. Order Verification
To protect you from fraud, we may contact you to verify your identity, billing address or delivery details before shipping, particularly for large orders or when the billing and delivery addresses differ. If we cannot verify an order, we will cancel it and refund any payment received.
4. How We Keep Your Payment Secure
Encrypted connection: our entire Website, including checkout, is secured with SSL/TLS encryption. Look for the padlock in your browser’s address bar.
No payment details collected on our Website: you pay directly from your own bank, so we never ask for or store your bank login, card number or PIN.
Payment confirmation in writing: every payment we receive is confirmed to you by email with your order number.
5. Protect Yourself Against Payment Fraud
Bank transfer fraud usually happens when criminals send fake payment instructions. Please follow these steps:
Our bank details will not change by email. If you receive a message saying our bank details have changed, do not pay. Call us first at (512) 316-8409 to confirm.
If you have any doubt, call us to confirm the bank details before sending payment.
Golf Carts King will never ask for your online banking password, card number or PIN.
6. Refunds
Refunds for orders paid by bank transfer are sent back to the bank account the payment came from, as described in our Refund and Returns Policy. If you cancel before your vehicle ships, you receive a full refund.
