How manufacturer warranties work on the vehicles we sell, what they usually cover, and how we help you make a claim.
1. Manufacturer Warranty
Many of the golf carts, low-speed vehicles (LSVs) and utility vehicles we sell are covered by a warranty from the original manufacturer. Manufacturer warranty coverage, length and terms vary by brand, model, model year and component (for example, the vehicle, battery, motor or controller). The manufacturer, not Golf Carts King, is responsible for the terms of its warranty.
Where a manufacturer warranty applies, we will provide the warranty documents that come with your vehicle and help you register it where registration is required.
2. How to Find Out Your Coverage
Before you buy, you can ask us for the warranty terms that apply to a specific vehicle. Where available, we will send you a copy of the written warranty so you can review it before you order, as required by the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Warranty information may also be shown on the product listing or your invoice.
3. Dealer Warranty
Golf Carts King does not provide a separate written dealer warranty unless one is stated on the product listing or on your invoice. If a dealer warranty is offered for a specific vehicle, its length and terms will be stated in writing.
4. What Warranties Usually Do Not Cover
Manufacturer warranties commonly exclude:
Normal wear items such as tires, brake pads, bulbs, fuses, seats and upholstery.
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, flooding, improper charging, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
Modifications or aftermarket parts not approved by the manufacturer, including some lift kits, speed upgrades and electrical changes.
Commercial or rental use, unless the warranty specifically covers it.
Cosmetic changes such as fading or scratches from normal use.
Always check your specific warranty document, as coverage varies.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
Contact us at (512) 316-8409 or contact@golfcartsking.com with your order number, the vehicle serial number (VIN), a description of the problem and photos or video if possible.
We will help you determine whether the issue is likely to be covered and guide you through the manufacturer’s claim process, including locating an authorized service provider.
Keep your proof of purchase and maintenance records, as the manufacturer may ask for them.
6. Issues at Delivery
If your vehicle arrives damaged, defective or is not the vehicle you ordered, please follow the steps in our Shipping Policy and Refund and Returns Policy. You may also return an eligible vehicle within 30 days of delivery.
7. Your Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under federal or Texas law, including implied warranties where they apply.
